TMNT: One Small Turtle: Stealth

Training was done. Mikey was trying to climb the tree. Splinter called his three oldest sons to him.

“Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello,” Splinter said, “I would like to have a mediation session today. I need you three to watch Michelangelo today. He needs to work on his studies and take a bath.”

Raph scoffed, “it hardly takes three of us to watch a nine-year-old,” Raph said.

“Then tell me where is he?” Splinter asked.

“That’s easy,” Raph said, “in the tree.”

“Try again,” Splinter said.

Raph looked around Mikey was nowhere to be found.

“What the hell,” Raph said.

“He’s watching TV,” Leo said casually.

“What the—” he said seeing his brother’s feet as he lay upside down on the couch.

“And yes father we can watch him,” Leo said obediently.

“It will be fun. I love teaching Mikey,” Donnie said going off to get the school books he needed to teach Mikey.

“And the kid loves water, so how hard can it be to give him a bath?” Raph said.

At the word ‘bath’ Mikey slipped off the couch. He was not dirty; he did not need a bath. While it was true Mikey loved swimming he was in a phase where he did not like baths.

Leo chuckled seeing the feet disappear. Neither of his brothers noticed that the little turtle was gone.

Raph turned around to find the missing turtle. “Mikey!” he yelled, starting to look for him.

“Leonardo I trust you will make sure everything is done?” Splinter said.

“You have my word,” Leo said bowing. Splinter returned the bow and went to the dojo.

Once Splinter left for the dojo Leo went to watch some TV while his younger brothers were distracted. Leo laughed a little to himself as he saw Mikey slip by. Donnie came out of a spare room with an arm full of books, just as Raph went flying by. The two collided.

“Damn it Donnie! I almost had him!” Raph snapped.

“Me! You blame me? You’re the one who can’t watch a nine year old turtle!” Donnie retorted.

“He’s a ninja!” Raph huffed.

“And so are you! A better one!” Donnie rolled his eyes as he bent down to pick up the papers and books.

“Yeah well that kid is fast!” Raph huffed.

“He’s only nine,” Donnie said going to the kitchen table. “Mikey! School time!”

“No! Bath first!” Raph snapped.

“No way! School is more important,” Donnie said.

“How about whoever finds him first?” Raph said.

“You are being---” Donnie stopped when Raph took off. “Jerk!” Donnie yelled running after him.

Leo got up and chuckled. He chased after Mikey. He was able to keep up with his speedy brother; the younger turtle hardly noticed his brother. Leo was impressed by Mikey’s stealth and speed. It was impressive.

After half an hour the lair was trashed from Raph flipping everything over to find the youngest member of the Hamato clan.

“You’re not helping!” Donnie snapped, “and don’t you dare go near my lab!” It was then when only Leo noticed Mikey slip into Donnie’s lab. In Mikey’s pocket Leo noticed his young turtle’s game boy.

“I’m not helping! You are not helping me! I’m the only one looking for him!”

“He’s being impossible we just need to wait for him. He always shows up eventually.”

“I don’t have time for him to stop playing games!” Raph said.

Leo slipped away from his bickering brothers to sneak up on his youngest brother. Mikey was under a desk when Leo popped up next to him. “Hey Mikey.”

Mikey mad a squealing sound, “Leo!” he said jumping up.

“Caught ya,” Leo chuckled.

“But I don’t wanna take a bath,” Mikey said.

“You need a bath,” Leo said, “and to do you school work.”

Mikey sighed, “fine.”

“But that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun,” Leo smiled.

“Fun?” Mikey said.

“Yeah. I have a deal for you.”

“A deal for me?” Mikey said perking up.

“Yeah. If you can catch me I will convince dad to give you bath tomorrow, but you will still need to do your homework.”

“And all I have to do—” Mikey looked up and Leo was gone
